Elie Aguilar Honored as Development Academy Referee of the Week

Aguilar played soccer for Sacramento United from the age of 10 through 19 and then served on the USS Kitty-Hawk in the Sea of Japan. He began his referee career in the summer of 2005. He is beginning his second season officiating in the Development Academy and exhibited strong performances in 2008-09 at the Winter Showcase in Lancaster, CA, the Spring Showcase in Sarasota, FL and the Academy Playoffs in Greensboro, NC.
Elie is the second referee in as many months from Cal-North to receive this presitigious award. Conrad Garcia received the award in October 2009.
